Cash4Life Terms and Conditions (Updated 11th November 2025)

1. Overview

• Insured Lotto Game: Cash4Life
• Underlying Lottery: Cash4Life
• Underlying Lottery Operator: New York State Gaming Commission
• Classes:
• Prize Category A (Main Jackpot): Tier 1
• Prize Category B (Non-Main Jackpot): Tier 2
• Prize Category C (Non-Jackpot): Tier 3-9

Prizes are paid as published on the KCS website, independent of the Underlying Lottery Operator.

For Kenyan residents in Type A or B Prize Categories:

• Full payout if only one winner.
• Half payout if two winners.
• One-third payout if three winners.
• Other payouts calculated proportionally for more winners.

All payouts are in US Dollars and converted to Kenyan Shillings.

2. Type A Prize Category Winnings

Example: Ksh10,000/day for life (30 years) or Ksh73,000,000 cash.

• 1 Winner: Ksh73,000,000 cash or Ksh10,000/day for 30 years (paid in equal annual instalments)
• 2 Winners: Ksh36,500,000 cash or Ksh5,000/day for 30 years (paid in equal annual instalments)
• 3 Winners: Ksh24,333,333.33 cash or Ksh3,333.33/day for 30 years (paid in equal annual instalments)

3. Type B Prize Category Winnings

Example: Ksh10,000/week for life (30 years) or Ksh10,400,000 cash.

• 1 Winning Bet: Ksh10,400,000 cash or Ksh10,000/week for 30 years (paid in equal annual instalments)
• 2 Winning Bets: Ksh5,200,000 cash or Ksh5,200/week for 30 years (paid in equal annual instalments)
• 4 Winning Bets: Ksh2,600,000 cash or Ksh2,600/week for 30 years (paid in equal annual instalments)

Winnings are calculated the same way as Type A Prize Category.

4. Notes

• Payouts depend on the number of winners and are divided proportionally.
• KCS determines the final payout in accordance with the total winners.
• All winnings are subject to standard Kenya withholding taxes of 5%.
